It was so much fun to spend an afternoon recently photographing the Q family. These two boys are adorable and cute little adventurers. They love to be outside enjoying nature, so it was fun to spend time with them outdoors.
This picture was such a sweet capture of brotherly love to me!
This family was so kind with one another…and photogenic as well!
I absolutely love this shot of mama talking to her oldest. One of those moments that is natural and beautiful!
Thank you so much,View full post »
This sweet little man LOVES his mama, and I just adored capturing a glimpse of that love during this photo session. He is the most jolly, adorable baby who is now an official toddler turned two! Happy birthday, sweet Harrison!
One of my favorite things about photography children is that you can’t really make them pose…or if you do, it lasts for about 30 seconds. I find that to be a good thing because what you are able to do is capture real life moments, which equates to theirView full post »
I had the privilege to take this beautiful couple’s engagement pictures recently…so lucky! I have known Lesli for years when her precious mom taught my little man in preschool. My guy not only loved her mom, but also he loved this sweet-now-engaged lady who was just a kid at the time. Lesli used to help her mom out a lot, and my son just adored knowing her! Needless to say I was thrilled to be asked to take these pictures. Super special young woman and her fiancé is such a catchView full post »
Our little Caroline is so excited to announce the news…we’re on HGTV’s Fixer Upper tonight! Woot Woot! We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity for the talented Joanna Gaines to design our house while Chip worked his fabulous construction magic. It could not have been a better way to transition to a new home from living in another city for so long.
Just a year ago we moved to Waco for Kyle to embark on a new adventure in the restaurant business, partnering withView full post »
I love taking pictures of kids. They’re just downright fun to photograph. At first they might be a little leery of that lady with the giant camera, but soon enough, we become friends and the fun begins. I love seeing the personalities of each child come out during a session. This sweet session was of three little sister beauties who couldn’t have been more cute. Wait until you see some of the solo pics of Miss Cutie Pie youngest sister herself–pumpkin!
I loved this session.View full post »
I loved getting to take pictures of this beautiful family of six. These siblings were so very kind and gentle with one another, making me wonder what Mom and Dad’s secret was to raising such neat kids! I’m going to have to ask next time I see them. I first met Mama on a mother/son retreat to Pine Cove when a bunch of ladies from my children’s school and church went. I knew I liked her from the first time I met her! Turned out we went to the same church and all. Waco is aView full post »
Some of Kyle and my favorite friends from college were his roommates and their girlfriends. This roomies’ girlfriend also happened to be in my sorority, which while super cheesy (I know, I know) was also very fun! I loved getting to take their pictures over the Thanksgiving holidays. It is so much fun to get to spend time with their beautiful family. Their kids are genuinely so sweet and happy…and remind me of mama and daddy a LOT.
We were lucky enough to take this at theirView full post »
I had the privilege to photograph this gorgeous family of 5 on the first good day of weather in a good, long while in Waco, Texas. Aren’t their colors just perfect for Fall pictures?! I love it when families coordinate so well. This has to be the biggest challenge for me personally when planning my own family pictures!
These kids are the cutest. Big brother is one that I hope my little man can hopefully become like in character as he ages. My little guy already thinks this young manView full post »
This is the beautiful K family who travelled all the way from Oklahoma to Waco to support their favorite team, the Baylor Bears. Sic’em! While here they enlisted my help to capture some photographs of where their story began at Baylor University.
While taking the pictures I could tell that this family really struggled with being photogenic (insert major sarcasm). Aren’t they gorgeous?!
Their girls were also just precious. Beautiful personalities to go with those smiles! IView full post »
