I loved getting to take pictures of this beautiful family of six. These siblings were so very kind and gentle with one another, making me wonder what Mom and Dad’s secret was to raising such neat kids!  I’m going to have to ask next time I see them.I first met Mama on a mother/son retreat to Pine Cove when a bunch of ladies from my children’s school and church went. I knew I liked her from the first time I met her! Turned out we went to the same church and all. Waco is a way smaller world than Austin, and I’m loving it!

The last few sessions I’ve had have proven ridiculously easy when it comes to capturing the shot.  Usually I’m chasing around my own children to get them to look at me with the camera (yes, even as we age they still run from camera mama), but lately when I’ve photographed other families they just look and smile and follow my instructions.  Crazy awesome!! New to me!! I feel so accomplished!! This family was kind and fun. We had to work around the place we were taking pics being very crowded with people.  They were patient and just helped me work with what we had…and it turned out perfect.
